“We used Tony to move us into our new home this past weekend. We had another company give us a quote and after meeting with Tony we were confident he was the one we wanted to hire. Tony was very detailed in describing what we needed for this move. Tony and Mike came the day before to help me pack away the items that were difficult i.e. The TV, paintings, lamps, etc. They also offered to do all of the packing, but we were fortunate to have friends help us with that, but definitely a nice option to have. They arrived early on moving day and had the job done quickly and efficiently. These guys work very well together. They took special care not to damage the furniture, walls, floors, etc at both houses. We have some very heavy, expensive pieces and not one was damaged. They were pleasant, funny and great with my kids. They even finished the job in less time than expected, saving us money! I don't typically write reviews and I'm very difficult to impress. I was pleasantly surprised that Tony and his crew not only met my expectations, but they exceeded them! I highly recommend this company. Very positive experience!”
“Tony the Mover is professional, honest and efficient. He and his crew helped my fiance and I to move into our new rental home today. I used his service because he had the best communication, responding quickly to calls and emails, as well as the best quote. However, we got so much more than that! Tony was courteous, skillful and friendly, and he clearly loves his job. He and his crew were so efficient, it made me feel as though I was in a well-organized whirlwind of furniture. Tony came out to the house last week to take a look at it, and to measure the stairs. This was impressive research, and gave me confidence in his professionalism. He added on an extra mover to help to hoist furniture in through the second story porch, since the stairs were too narrow, but this did not greatly increase the earlier quote. He had a fair price for the work done. We agreed on a date and time for the move a week later, and he stuck to it, getting there exactly on time. A bit of backstory on the furniture: My uncle recently had to move into a care facility, and wanted me to have the furniture in his storage locker. It was horribly organized, and involved literally climbing over mountains of furniture. Tony the Mover had the whole place cleaned out and packed in less than an hour. When they arrived at the house, they handily lifted a sofa bed through the porch door, even though this meant removing (and later replacing) the railing. I did price shopping and comparisons for many local outfits to help us hoist a piece of furniture up to our second floor that wouldn't make it around our tight staircase. “Tony has moved me and my children 4 times. I have had him move us from Virginia to Michigan; Michigan to Florida, Virginia to Georgia and Michigan to Colorado. Each time, I have never hesitated to call and have him come move me or my things to some other person. His staff is courteous, friendly, respectful of my things. Damage has been so minimal I never filed a claim with them. As long as Tony is alive and well, he will be my mover til he moves me to the grave. Cannot give him any higher recommendations. I don't even get quotes from others anymore.
